Heathcote House is a grade ll listed village property. We aim to cater for all the needs of our visitors in our home. The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific needs or questions please feel free to call us and we will endeavour to help.

Arrival and Car Parking
On arrival to Heathcote House you will come through the entrance there are no marked parking bays but there is ample room for all cars, the surface is concrete with a small amount of gravel.
We can assist guests with their luggage.
We have a village shop a few minutes away and The Royal Oak public house across from Heathcote House.
Main Entrance and Reception
The path to the front door (outside light on at dusk) is of paving and a small amount of gravel all on the level through to the front door which is kept locked and guest are given key, (door width 93cm) straight into the hall (3.5 x 3.5 metres) with chair with arms and marble flooring.
The drawing room leads off the hall with door width 88cm, pale carpet throughout.
This is where breakfast is served all on one level leading from the hall, the furniture is flexible and can be moved on request, the tables have under space of 65cm and 99cm wide the chairs are without arms. Black & White marble floor. There are double doors leading out to the terrace two steps 10cm and 7cm.
We do not play background music.
The Garden Room
On the ground floor leading off the conservatory with one step up of 9cm through first doorway width 79cm then bedroom door width 74cm king size bed height 60cm (could be raised with blocks with prior notice) TV with remote control. Well lit en-suite, door width 74cm step into shower 28cm and 10cm down, basin 86cm high toilet 43cm high pale colour tiled floor and pale colour carpet in bedroom.
The stair case leads off the hall winding to the left with a vertical handrail 13 steps 18cm high leading to the 1.8m x 2m landing, pale coloured carpet throughout.
The Teal Room
Doorway off landing width 84cm room generous size with 2 x 3ft zip and link beds 72cm high (could be raised with blocks with prior notice) TV with remote control, two seater sofa 43cm high the doorway to the en-suite is 70cm wide and the toilet is 43cm high and basin is 82cm high, chair without arms and bath with shower attachment over.
The Fig Room
Leading off the landing (door width 77cm) into corridor with 2 steps 19cm high doorway of bedroom 77cm, king size bed 53cm high (could be raised with blocks with prior notice) TV with remote control 2 comfy chairs one with arms and one without both 42cm high. Pale carpet throughout. En-suite leading off corridor door width 71cm, basin 82cm high and the toilet is 43cm high bath with shower above, table and arm less chair.
Grounds and Gardens
We have a good size garden with lawn and flower beds there are steps and there is a path leading from the drive around most of the garden and some seating is available.
We have a adjustable stool for use in shower/bath, robust plastic seat with aluminmium frame with rubber feet for increased stability and grip.
We also have a grab rail which has suction pads so that it can be used in any of the ensuite’s
Assistance dogs are welcome we do have 2 Border Terrier’s Itzi & Mitzi
Mobile phone reception is not very good here you can always use our landline for any in or out going calls.
The back and front doors would be used in the need of an emergency and if assistance was needed at any time please notify us.
We are happy to organise delivery of hired equipment.
We are a non smoking property.
